In keeping with Paper Issues theme I thought I would post some of my favorite Halloween Pages... I like to mix things up when I scrapbook. One of the ways I keep things blended without looking too matchy-matchy is to store remnants of embellishments in old VHS plastic cases..that way If I'm not doing a specific challenge, I can pull out my embellie cases labeled...according to either color or theme or color combo... (when I clean up my desk after many scrap projects later I put the scattered misplaced embellies that didn't get put back with the rest into the VHS case labeled to fit.) The old VHS tapes make for a quick grab when you are on the way to a crop... You will always have a good mix of ribbon scraps, eyelets, bling, buttons, sticker, chipboard.etc. Well that's my tip for the day! I hope it will work for you. Meanwhile enjoy some spooky and not so spooky Halloween pages.
some of the images below are a bit blurry..I do apologise for that!
My daughter and her friend. I have an old assortment of scrap lace cut from a old shirt.. the scallop is made from large round sequins. |

ReplyDeleteHi Lana! Great layouts! I believe the fussyness may be that the images are too small- did you grab them off facebook? Downloading them will give you a higher resolution version. Sorry for the unsolicited advise- just wannahelp out if I can. B is for Boo is really great! LOVE the layering you use in your work.
